Sunday School

The Sunday School and crèche meet in the church hall during Sunday morning worship at 11am.

The crèche is for children from 0-3 and is available to allow parents to leave their children in a fun and safe environment to allow them to worship. Of course parents are welcome to take their young children into church and have them sit with them for all or part of the service.
Our crèche, as with all our activities for children and young people is staffed by volunteers who have met the stringent requirements of the Church of Scotland's guidelines on protecting children and young people. For more details of this please see the 'Children and Our Church' section of the website.

Our Sunday School caters for children in primaries 1-7. We have a junior Sunday School (age 3-p3) and a senior Sunday School (p4-7). We have over 40 children in our Sunday School and they all come along for a mix of singing, crafts, stories, games and much more. Each week the children think about a theme or story from the bible and explore it in a variety of different ways.

The Sunday School play a regular part in our worship, sharing in the family time at the beginning of our service, leading songs and sometimes even taking the whole service!

Fun is as the top of the agenda in our Sunday School and they have had pizza parties, ten pin bowling outings, beach parties, Halloween parties and much more. There is also an annual fun day in August to kick off the new session, which has been very well attended.

We would be pleased to welcome your children and their friends at our Sunday School or crèche. There is no need to book in advance, it costs nothing and it meets every Sunday.
