It is with a heavy heart that we inform everyone that the Church of Scotland, in line with other denominations, has taken the decision to cancel all gatherings for worship with immediate effect. We are unclear as to how long this will be in place for. 

It is the intention of the ministers of Greyfriars and St. Nicholas Church to broadcast a service each Sunday at 11am. This will be online at https://ondemand.greyfriars.church and you are welcome to share this link with anyone who could find it comforting in this time.

We will be working on ways to continue to support people pastorally throughout this crisis. If you require any assistance then please get in touch with us. 

These decisions may also have an impact on funerals within the church however ministers will still be able to conduct services at the graveside or crematorium in line with the advice from Funeral Directors and their associations. We are fully committed to supporting families through this difficult time.

This is an unprecedented move by the churches in Scotland at a time when we face an unprecedented crisis. We ask for your prayers for all those affected by the Coronavirus.
